Designed to meet requirements for a compact, efficient, cost effective muzzle suppressor without the need for fluids or grease, this unit is radically different from conventional silencer designs. The suppressor creates an extremely efficient aerodynamic flow of gases coupled with high internal turbulence to cool gases and impede their exit. The OUTBACK™ is engineered so that there is no need to disassemble for maintenance. This unit interfaces well with virtually any .22 rimfire weapon which can have the barrel threaded 1/2x28; it is usable on pistols as well as a wide variety of .22 rimfire rifles. Since mounting to the firearm is accomplished by attachment to muzzle threads, the suppressor can be quickly removed, returning the firearm to its original appearance and use in non-suppressed shooting requirements. Thread adapters to 3/8x24 are available. In spite of its small size, the OUTBACK™ is an exceptionally effective unit which outperforms many designs significantly larger. The OUTBACK™ will achieve its rated sound reduction specification when completely dry.
