Weighing only half as much as a 9mm round and with 30%
less recoil, the 5.7 x 28 mm enhances accuracy in both
rapid aimed shots and full automatic fire. The projectile
transfers nearly all of its energy to the target on
impact, thus minimizing over-penetration and greatly
reducing collateral risks. In contrast, a 9mm round
loses only 30% of its energy on the primary target and
often causes unintended damage. This round will penetrate
modern fragmentation vests and helmets at ranges up
to 200 meters. Rounds available: SS190 ball, L191 tracer,
Sb193 subsonic, and T194 training round.
